Itineraries
Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival at the Kigali Airport, you will be met by our safari guide, who will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. The journey to the North goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that display Rwanda’s landscape and the beautiful, breathtaking land of over 1000 hills. Overnight at Muhavura for budget, Le Bambou Hotel for mid-range, or Virunga Lodge for luxury
Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park and back to Kigali
After breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters of Parc National des Volcans. There you will be briefed by the ranger guides; with a packed lunch, you will then start the gorilla trekking through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga. After the trek, you will transfer back to Kigali. You may wish to enjoy a city tour, including a visit to the genocide memorial site, depending on your departure flight. You will be dropped off at the Kigali International Airport to mark the end of the 2-day gorilla Tracking in Rwanda.
